It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Jordan Wedmore, who tragically left us on December 27, 2024, at the age of 26. His sudden departure leaves a void that will forever be felt by all who loved him.

Jordan, born on February 27, 1998, grew up in Sioux City, Iowa, where his vibrant spirit and zest for life captured the hearts of everyone he encountered. As a hardworking and successful independent business owner, he was admired for his determination and drive. But it was in the great outdoors where Jordan truly thrived. His adventurous spirit was one of his defining qualities, and he shared that passion with his son, Waylon. Together, they embraced the beauty of nature, embarking on countless adventures camping, trail riding, and exploring the wilderness. The bond they shared was profound—each journey strengthened their connection, and every moment in the outdoors was a reflection of Jordan’s deep love for his family and his love of life.

Jordan’s love for adventure didn’t end with his family—he was always eager to share his enthusiasm with those around him. His infectious laughter, curiosity, and appreciation for the world’s natural wonders were felt by all who knew him.

Jordan is survived by his significant other, Maddie, and his beloved son, Waylon, who were his greatest treasures. He is also survived by his beloved grandmother, Joni Stahlnecker, and grandfather, Darold Stahlnecker; his devoted mother, Rebecca Stahlnecker, and her significant other, Chris Boecher; his cherished brother, Bentley Boecher; his proud grandfather, Dennis Wedmore; his father, Chris Wedmore, and his loving wife, Shayla; his beautiful siblings, Kalynn, Coltyn, Abbie, and Sadie Wedmore; his stepbrothers, Marcus and Maxsen. His love for his family knew no bounds, and his deep connection with them will never be forgotten.

Jordan was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Cathy Wedmore, whose love and warmth shaped him into the person he was.

He is also survived by many other loving family members, including uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends, all of whom are heartbroken by his passing. His kindness, infectious laughter, and unyielding loyalty touched the lives of so many, and his legacy of love will live on in each of us.

hough his time with us was far too brief, Jordan’s adventurous spirit, love of the outdoors, and unwavering devotion to his family will continue to inspire and guide us. His legacy of joy, love, and exploration will forever live in our hearts.
